Has anyone gotten pregnant on 3rd cycle of femara? This is my third of 2.5 femara 2 times a day on 3 to 7. I also take 1000 metformin. I got pregnant the first cycle with help of hcg shot but miscarried within 2 weeks. 2nd cycle didn't get hcg and didn't start until day 32. Any good stories would be great! We've been trying for #2 for 2 years with 3 mc so far. They all happened after I had my son? Anyone had anything similar? Thanks good luck to all.

Hey Stephanie, not everyone is supportive, but most people are and we've had a hard time this year b/c 6 couples we know all had babies. :( But it will be our turn one day. I hope it's this month. Good luck to you this month.

well, today is cd12 and i've noticed lots of cm. I sure hope this is this month. I was put on antibiotics b/c of sore throat. Will this interfere with ovulation?? My cousin's wife called last night to tell me her re put her on femera. It's nice to have someone in the family to relate to. How are you guys feeling???

I also have PCOS. My husband and I have been ttc for 3years. I did 7 cycles of clomid. Had 2 mc. This month we are trying Femara 2.5. Had one good follicle. Did iui today. Hope it works . Wish me luck. Good luck to everyone.

Hi eb. My doctor put me on a antib. too ( amoxicillin )for a sinus infection. My doctor says that the drug will not be a problem for people who are taking Femara to become pregnant.I'm not sure what meds that you are taking but I hope this is helpful. I hope that everything is going well for everyone this month. Keep in touch

He eb. Last time I went to the doc she gave me another round of provara to start a cycle. My body doesn't work on it's own anymore so i'm waiting for it to work.(so I can start the famera ) I was told that if it doesn't work within two weeks to take another pregnancy test, but it should. So far it has been a week. But no news on my side yet. I think that this is my month too. I recently baught one of the clearblue ovu. things from the drug store so I am hoping that that will work better then those "pregnancy test", looking things.

Just went to the doctors today. First round of Femera - not pregnant. Second round - not sure yet. I ovulated early this month, then experienced spotting (only occurred on once) the next week. I have had non stop cramps since. Just like I experience one week prior to menstration. I am still one week away from day 28. My doctor took my blood for pregnancy, showed up negative, however, informed me in the office visit that I could in fact be pregnant. I am trying to be optomistic, but I just don't believe it. We have been ttc for 4 years. I am so tired of the disappointment:(

I know what you mean...i have been ttc for 4 years....but just saw a RE about 3 mths ago thats when my gyn thought i might have pcos and sent me...i had and u/s and blood work done and i do have pcos...but all i have done in the last 3 mths is take bc to regulate my cycle and femara 2 cycles and just started my 3rd...everytime i start my period i only spot about 4days and that is not my regular cycle...i think it has something to do with the Femara..and another thing it is only in the morning that i spot have you had any of this going on?

Hi girls, I just read the posts. I finished my last round of femera last week. Last monthe period ( early mc) as they called it was 7 days early and i never detected o. This month i o'ed on or around day 17 or 18(kinda late considering i take 2 2.5 meg pills day 5 - 9 ) I go for progest. test tomorrow, not sure if it will do any good, since i oed so late, but at least i know i oed. Does taking Femara cause you to ovulate early? the reason i ask is after taking bc i was told to test on day 11.....my 2nd round i wasn't told when to test but i tested on day 11 and ovulated on day 12.....so i think i'm suppose to ovulate on the 8th if i am right....my cycle changed last month it was 33 days and the month b4 it was 28 now this month it is 27....but i am only spotting no flow at all....and only 4days not me at all not mad ...lol....mine mostly last 25 days are longer....i will take 4 days anytime...lol

I started my second round of femara today. No wicked side effects yet. I e-mail you tomarrow to tell you how I am doing then. Hope that everything is going well with everyone and as always.....good luck!.
Oh... I am unsure if Femara makes you ov early. What I do is that the day after I stop taking the femara, I start daily tests using the Clear Plan ovulation test. The monitor is about $150-200 dollars depending where you by it and the testing strips are about $50 dollars for a 30 day pack. I find it to work the best for me. I know people who have used the kind where you need to read the lines but I found that to be difficult.
Last month I had really a really hard ttime reading the lines but I was having a really crampy, sometimes painful burning feeling on my left side. My doctor said that that is also a sign of ov of you are unsure ( she said that it doen't happen every month ) I hope that is a help to you.

Hey all, I am on cd 23, so that means that i should see af around sat or within a few days, the longest its been is 34 days, but that was before femera. Glad everyone else is feeling okay.

AHHHH. what a day. I quit my job today in protest to the way my employer has been treating me through this whole fertility thing. Luckly my husband is in full support and everything. So tomarrow I will start the job search process while having the femara side effects. ( I got so nauseous this morning that I had a really hard time getting out of bed ) I am going on my third day 2.5mg... and I was thinking....... I don't know how all of you do this two pill of femara thing! I can't amagine those side effects.
