Mollie, my MD gave me my injection he said that my follicle was 20cm and that is what he wanted it at before he gave the trigger shot.

I just took the HPT clear blue again and it said +, can the shot still be in my system still or what? I read on the computer that it can take 14days to be out of your system so if I got the shot on the 14th would you count from the 14th or no. If you count the 14th it is 16days past and if you don't count the 14th then it is 15days past. I think I'm going to call and get blood work done. Either way it is past 14days and I'm still getting a + result(depending which brand I use..LOL) What do you guys think?

You know what they say, a positive is a positive. I'd go ahead and schedule blood work or just wait a few more days and retest.

hey JND i had a trigger shot on the 12 and i tested on the 26 and it was neg and again on the 27 and 28th both neg it just depends on the person and dose i had 10,000iu so the re told me to allow 14 days but mine was out earlier. Have heard of people hcg level being too low to pick up a positive hpt earlier than the first day of af. My af is due in today. I stop taking progest capsule on Sat night so she should be here by thur or friday. I'm hoping to test again on the 1st of Dec anybody have input. Could I have Tested too early and not be producing hcg higher enough to detect?

Hey girls, day two of femara. RE says if this does not work we may try injections but said she does not want to b/c PCOS girls may get too many follies hyperstimulted. I still never Oed in my life so I am not there yet, but have you heard of such things?

Hi gals, Abby, I am on same dose of femera as you. I have one more month of it if this month doesn't work and then i'll see re again. I am wondering if we'll just add trigger shot or if he'll do trigger shot and iui. I'm only 26 will be 27 in feb, so i'm not sure what the next step will be for us.

Carroll, my trigger shot was on the 14th. I took HPT's 26,27,28 and 29 and all were +. I talked to the nurse today and she said that the shot would not cause a + according to the doctor. My appt. is Thurs. for blood and urine work, I hope to get some confirmation then. She says if I am pregnant I am very early...around 3 1/2 weeks. Tomorrow is going to go so slow......hope everyone is doing well!

Abby I always had af until about 1994 I never took bc me and my boyfriend (th now!) always had unprotected sex never got pg. Not until 2002 was I told about pcos i had it and when I had af i was not ovulating. I don't ovulate on my own. The re gave me ovidrel, it didn't work so we tried femara again with follistim and novarel it worked i ovulated.Now the femara worked the first time too, I got one follicle that time.The second time with femara and follistim, All those little polycyst grew but it wasn't painful just bloated and heavy i had 60 that measure from 9mm to 11mm and others larger and 3 mature 2 21mm and 19mm. So it may not give you over stimulating ovaries

ok girls.... i have a question for you. i just finished my first round of femara. i tried clomid 50 mg for 2 months and then they switched me to femara but it didnt work either. now the doctor wants me to try 1 more month but switch to days 5-9 and then if that doesnt work then we can double my dosage. i was just wondering if anyone has had any problems doubling it? i am not seeing an RE just my regular OB and she said she hasnt ever had to double it before. i feel like staying on the same dosage is a waste of a month since it ddnt even come close to working last month??

I haven't had any trouble since doubling my dose. This was my 2nd month. Ovulated yesturday. Side effects were a little more noticeable and ovaries were a little more tender .

I think we are due for some good news out of this group. My only good news is day three femera and no night sweats like with clomid!! I forgot to ask you gals, but have any of you had to do a post coitel (PK test) on cd 13 or 14? I did last month on clmid b/c they wanted to check cm. My RE let me look under the microscope at the sperm swimming all around! It was far out. I guess on the bright side of this, I got to see seomthing really cool that the "normal" girls out there in the world of would never get to see. Anyone else??
