hai,
I am 28. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and have irregular mensus. My Doc put me on Clomid 50mg (one tablet a day from days 3-7 & one tablet for 10 alternate days). I find that people describe taking only 5 dosage tablets per cycle. Could some one using clomid, let me know on what dosages were pregnant or was prescribed by their OB?

hello Ursila, I have been taking clomid and i also have PCOS since feb 2003. my gyno told me to take one (50g) a day from the 4 day of my period till the 9 day (5 days) but every gyno is different. A lady i know was taking up to 3 tablets a day (150g) . All gyno's have different ways of tell people when and how to take cloimd like my last gyno wanted me to take it from my first day of my period. i wouldnt worry about it they now what they are doing and it will not hurt you.

hey i just completed my 1st cycle of Clomid 50mg. My dr. prescribed 1 pill days5-9 of cycle. Some drs. do prescribe days 3-7 also.

hello girls im from the uk and i have pcos and on clomid i have to take mind for 5 days 50mg i am hoping to become pregnant soon as we have been trying for nearly 2 yrs.

i have been on clomid for 4 months they had me taking it on cycle days 3-7 now i have to stop taking it because it gave me a cyst on my right ovary

i have to take 25mg clomid for 5 days from day 3 of my ycle, good luck

I am currently taking Clomid and have been for the last 4 months!! I started taking 50 mg. tablets for the first three months-days 3-7 and then on the 4th month I started taking 100 mg tablets on days 3-7 so I really don't know anything about 10 alternate days. That is a little unusual

I've been seeing an IVF specialist who has prescribed clomid with directions that is to be taken on the 5th day of my cycle.

my doctor put me on clomid.And told me to take it on the third day of my period,for 5 days only.hope i helped.

Hi, i was just perscribed clomid this week, my doctor has me on pergesterone to clean me out since i have pcos and have not had a period in 4 months, he told me after that i should get my period and then to start taking my 50mg tablets 3 days after my period end, then to take it every day for 5 days, then he said to get an ovulation kit and test my urine for the next 3-5 days after that to see if i am ovulation, does this sound right to anyone here? Can anyone tell me the sucess rate of conceiving, my husbands semen sample came back perfectly normal, so hes fine its just me, im so wanting to have a baby and just want to know if this is a good drug and how sucessful it is, please let me know whst you think

terra, i have been looking on the internet on all kinds of site and i have found that most girls on clomid conceive with in 6 months . the thing i have found is not be think about trying for a baby because the more stress you are under the less likely you are to conceive. i have been on clomid for 3 months, i know the feeling you are going though. keep in touch all you girls and fingers crossed for some good news

Hi i have also been diganosed with PCOS and my gyno has advised me to take 50mg of clomid 2nd day of my period for a period of 5 days, i have been taking this for 8 months and now been given 3 tablets a day for 4 months still not pregnant please wish me luck. does anyone knoiw any person who has acheieved pregnacy through taking clomid tablets

I wasd prescribed 50mg for 2 months them 100mg my third month. Nothing seem to work. So me being military I moved to another part of Germany. I saw a new RE and he said I needed to have a laparoscopy. THX to him I am no longer unexplain and now i know why the clomid did'nt work. I wish you the best of luck TC and Happy Holidays
