I also had the same thing, My last day of ovulation was tuesday. I started bleeding slightly yesterday and today. NOthing big but still should I be concerned?

I had a misscaraige one month ago and I am triing again. I can't pinpoint a time of ovulation because I have not gotten my period yet. I had very slight spotting which has since stopped. I hope it was ovulation bleeding.

Has anyone heard of a correlation between organic milk and mid cycle spotting? My periods have been drop-dead regular for my entire life (28 days) and for the past 10 months they have been changing. I have regularly started to notice spotting during mid-cycle, which has only happened less than a handful of times in my life beforehand, and my cycle is now irregular - most months now 27 days, but last month was 4 days late. My periods themselves have also become irregular (to me) - spotting for 2-3 days, then VERY heavy bleeding for 2 days, then all of a sudden nothing.

I have heard some testimony about the use of organic dairy products, and how they affect hormone levels. It dawned on me that I switched to organic milk about the time that my cycle started changing. Has anyone else heard of this? Thanks!

I had mid-cycle bleeding about 1 1/2 months ago. I thought it might be implantation, but I got my period about a week later. Now I have not had any bleeding for over 4 weeks, and previously my cycle has been about 3 weeks. I have taken a pregnany test, and only come up with negative results. Is there a connection between the two?

all 3 times i've been pregnant i've bled early.
the first pregnancy i had i was on day 16 with quite a lot of blood i wnt tothe doctor and explained and he was scared of an eptopic i was rushedinto hospital for emergency scanning it turned out i was only 2 days pregnant , she could see a tiny weeny sac... 6 weeks later it resulted in a miscarriage, was a strange one since iknew for so long, the next pragnacie i had also hadthe spotting as well and my 3rd pregnancy which was eptopic i practically bled most of the time but just thought it was a strange period as i never knew i was pregnant . 3 tests were negative... so bit of advice , please don't ignore irregular bleeding or pain, i left it so late that i almost died, i was on holiday at the time so i tried to ignoreit until i collapsed of so much lost blood.

I have two healthy boys 6 and 2. In the past 6 months I've had 2 miscarriages. Since the last one I've had one normal period and now I'm ovulating with a brownish discharge/spotting. I've had mid-cycle spotting before and they did all the tests and everything was fine but I'm concerned about getting pregnant. I want to wait one more regular period and hopefully that one will decide to stay with me. Does anyone know anything about this brownish stuff related to ovulation?

michelle - March 3rd, 2005 9:33 AM

we don't seem to know when we ovulate, day 10 now so not long to go now!!!

Lyn - March 7th, 2005 5:47 PM

Hello Everyone! I believe that what I experienced earlier was implantation bleeding b/c now I am 6 weeks pregnant!!! Yeah! Now I am seeing very very very light spotting when I wipe and I am concerned. I know that when women bleed in early pregnancy there is a 50% chance of miscarriage... I wonder if its too light to worry about or if there is anything that I can do to increase the chances of this pregnancy continuing? Anyone's input would be appreciated because my mind has been racing... I go to the Dr. tomorrow so I will let you all know how it goes...

i had my period on the 5th of January and then Febuary comes and i started to spot on the 23....Then here we are on March 9 and nothing has happened....I took a pregnancy test in Febuary and it was negative....could i still be pregnant....or is it just wishful thinking on my part....and let me add my periods have always been on the 5 th of every month.....

I have a friend who is a NFP coordinator and for the first time I had tinges of blood in my cervical mucus. I am a few days away from my supposed ovulation time (day 13 right now). I never discovered before but I always check my cervical fluid on the tissue or with one finger sweeping the vagina. I read to check with two fingers and "squeeze" the cerfix to check for mucus. When I did this I discovered the bloody mucus. My friend told me some women have this ovulation bleeding and it is normal not to worry.

Thanks Rebecca that really makes me feel better - it went away after two days anyway - which made me feel better. And it doesn't seem to happen every month. We were planning on to start trying again next month for our third child and I've just been nervous with the two back to back miscarriages I've gone through lateley. Thanks again.

if you are pregnant, pay attention to your breast, mine are on the small side normally, but only 2 days after a missed period they were much more swollen, noticable

Hi everyone, not really an answer, just wanted to say how relieved i am to read all this! i've had spotting / light bleeding mid-cycle for a couple of years (and on and off before that), and i'd never thought much of it until recently when someone told me it wasn't normal and could be a sign of something serious. V.relieved when google led me here... it seems like it's actually very common. i just get a couple of days of spotting, which, mixed with my normal discharge around that time, means that i have to wear a pantyliner, but that's no great hassle really!
