Name: Kaci | Date: December 9, 2004, 8:38
Answer: Katie, I have noticed the same thing and am also trying to get pregnant. I have had 2 miscarriages so I'm worried that the bleeding could be related. Does anyone have any information? Thanks!

Name: J | Date: December 12, 2004, 5:24
Answer: According to the book Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler, a day or 2 light bleeding right around ovulation is normal. It is another fertitlity sign that can help us identify where we are in our cycle. Its usually the result of sudden drop of estrogen just before ovulation & tends to occur more often in long cycle. I personally have this kind of bleeding and had a cycle length of around 35 days. Was pretty worried initially & even had an ultrasound done to check for cyst but everything turn up fine. But after reading the above mentioned book, make me feel really relieved cause me, too, suffered from an early miscarriage 2 wks ago.

Name: Louise | Date: December 15, 2004, 16:32
Answer: I have this and so did my Mum. The most interesting explanation I saw was that it is due to a drop in oestrogen just prior to ovulation. I only get it some months - maybe that's when I'm actually ovulating. Haven't really bothered about it except now am trying to get pregnant and wonder whether the blood will affect environment for sperm - anyone have any info on that?

Name: Carol | Date: January 15, 2005, 11:23
Answer: I am also trying to get pregnant and have just started bleeding 15 days after my period. At first I had hoped it was Implantation Bleeding but it is definately more of a 'bleed' than 'spotting'. Is it now too late to conceive or is there still a chance before my period is due? Any info on mid-cycle / ovulation bleeding & implantantation bleeding would be a great help.

Name: Heidy | Date: January 15, 2005, 13:05
Answer: I had a miscarrage one and a half year ago and trying to conceive now. I have the middle cycle bleeding also. The miscarrage was happend at the middle of my cycle (suppose). But no explanation from my OB/GYN. I do think there are a relationship with the middle cycle bleeding and miscarrage. Is there someone can explain this to me? THanks!

Name: RS | Date: January 25, 2005, 11:55
Answer: Is there a way to tell if it's an irregular period or if it's just bleeding during ovulation? I have the same issue as Carol and am cuirous is if it's now too late to conceive. Thanks

Name: Carol | Date: January 29, 2005, 10:33
Answer: Hi, me again. My period is due today, I have had slight cramps and only a slight amount of brown discharge which is unusual as my cycle is normally regular. I have my fingers crossed that I could still be pregnant and that the mid cycle bleeding was just due to ovulation after all. I will let you know how I get on. Am still very confused though regarding mid-cycle & ov. bleeding - can't seem to get any concrete advice on either.

Name: Claire | Date: January 30, 2005, 7:03
Answer: It is quite normal to have a slight bleed around the time of ovulation due to hormone changes, it does not affect your fertility. Implantation bleeding usual occurs around the time your period is due and can be accompanied by cramps. And i would also like to say there is hope after miscarrage, i had 2 and now i have 2 perfect children.

Name: Brittany | Date: January 31, 2005, 15:35
Answer: I have recently gotten off of birth control to try to become pregnant. I calculated when I was suppose to ovulate and that day I began to bleed very heavily. Could this just be from coming off the pill?

Name: Carol | Date: February 1, 2005, 18:13
Answer: Well its now the 1st Feb and still no period....however I did a pregancy test on Sunday and unfortunately it was negative. No sign of a period though, no symptoms like sore boobs like I usually get. Am thinking of doing another test mid-week but don't have any pregnancy symptoms either. Not really sure where to go from here or what to do? Any advice? Thanks.

Name: S.C. | Date: February 3, 2005, 10:26
Answer: I'm not sure about that. I have never spotted around that time except for this month. I thought it might be an early implantation, but was wrong. Why does it seem like I'm pregnant and not. Waiting on period, but negative test result.

Name: heather | Date: February 3, 2005, 17:40
Answer: I am currently trying to fall pregnant. I have PCOS(polycystic ovarian Syndrom) and hav e been taking clomid tablets. Recently my periods have been all over the place but I went for a scan today and everything is normal. I have been having mid-cycle bleeding and thought something was wrong but thank God its all normal. I stated bleeding yesterday which was Day 10 and I am due to release the egg Mon, Tues.

Name: Carol | Date: February 7, 2005, 7:33
Answer: Well it's now the 7th Feb and still no sign of my period. I saw the nurse on Friday who seems to think that I'm not pregnant due to negative hpt & lack of symptoms however she sent me away with a sample bottle which I had to take into the surgery this morning, however I have to wait until Friday for the results. I have also rec'd an appt for a ultra sound scan in 2 wks time so hopefully they can give me some answers & at least put my mind at rest that nothing is wrong in that department. Has anyone else had any luck?

Name: dana | Date: February 7, 2005, 18:54

Name: Kim | Date: February 7, 2005, 23:12
Answer: Looking back on some of the different questions, it does seems quite normal for some women to experience bleed/spotting during the time of ovulation. It's usually due to the changes of hormones. there have been a few times when I have noticed some spotting right during the ovulation period. I have one son and have had 2 miscarriages this past year. I don't think the bleeding is related though. some say spotting during ovulation is a good indication of being fertile and is a window to show when the best time to have intercourse. As for Carol, the fact that you still have no period but did experience some brown discharge could indicate a missed misscarriage. It's definitely best to continue to see your ob/gyn if you don't get your period soon. Best of luck!

Name: nicola | Date: February 8, 2005, 4:39
Answer: Not an answer Im afraid just a question. I have been trying for a baby for about 8 years and have had three miscarriages at five weeks. I am into day 17 of my cycle and have had some spotting. Does anyone know if this is too early for implantation bleeding. Any advice would be great.

Name: tiffani | Date: February 8, 2005, 13:59
Answer: I have 2 kids, and to my knowledge have never had a miscarriage. This past December I had 2 1/2 days of bleeding, then I ovulated. I thought I was starting to ovulate (had egg white cm on Sunday the 6th) so we had sex on Sun and Mon. Haven't had any ovulation signs since, and now i'm bleeding again around ovulation time. Not sure what to think, just hope all is okay in the fertility dept.

Name: dana | Date: February 8, 2005, 18:58
Answer: I'm still in my fertile stage and I have a heavy period ? What's up. I had my period 11 days ago and now I have it again? Does Chlomid make you bleed like this? Can you fall pregnant while you're bleeding??? Any answers? Please help!

Name: dana | Date: February 8, 2005, 19:01
Answer: What is implantation bleeding???

Name: Kim | Date: February 9, 2005, 17:30
Answer: I've had three pregnancies and two of those were miscarriages. I never had implantation bleeding with them, but was told that this bleeding is more like spotting that usually happens before your period is due. If you have pretty regular cycles you could probably differentiate between the two. It's usally a day of light spotting if it's implantation bleeding. If your real period comes a week later it could indicate some hormonal changes and if your period is late, it may indicate that you could be pregnant.

Name: Lyn | Date: February 9, 2005, 22:31
Answer: I have been keeping track of my cycles for about 9 months now and have noticed light "spotting" around ovulation. I haven't been on the BCP for a year and a half and my hubby and I were just going to "let it happen." We're starting to get worried that it has "happened" yet and this sounds similar to many of your situations. Maybe the midcycle bleeding is related... maybe not.

Name: Darcy | Date: February 16, 2005, 23:17
Answer: Hi, I have a similar question. I have light bleeding and brown discharge 2 weeks after my periods. I suppose this is due to ovulation. Is there any way to reduce/ avoid it? Also, is it safe to have sex around that time?

Name: nicole | Date: February 17, 2005, 18:26
Answer: is impantation bleeding red? and what are the most common signs of pregnanacy?

Name: Aggie | Date: February 18, 2005, 16:18
Answer: I'm only 11 weeks pregnant, and lastnight I started bleeding so bad until today, does that mean I have misscarriage? Please tell me. THis is my first time.

Name: Heather | Date: February 19, 2005, 20:10
Answer: katie, I am having the same problem,I am also trying to conceive and had two m/c's previously

Name: Heather | Date: February 19, 2005, 20:14
Answer: Aggie - I would recommend going to see your doctor and getting a referral to get an u/s - think positive until you are definately sure I have heard of others that have had bleeding during pregnancy and to continue to full term. I have had two m/c's so the first thing is to see your doctor.

Name: sarah | Date: February 21, 2005, 22:21
Answer: Hi, Sorry no answer but just to say what a comfort that there are others. I came off the pill about 6 months ago. Regular 29 day cycles then last month i did an ovulation test - NO SURGE then i got for the first time the 'brown bleeding' for about 4 days. My period started a few days ago but i was 9 days late. Can anyone help be figure out whats going on. A few years a go i was told i had pcos. I'm 25. Why cant i get pregnant?

Name: Amanda | Date: February 22, 2005, 13:28
Answer: Katie, I too had experienced spotting during ovulation last year. This happened to me usually a day or two after a positive result with an ovulation test kit for the LH surge. I had made a Dr.'s appointment believing something was wrong. A couple of days before my appointment I took a pregnancy test and found that I was pregnant with my son so the bleeding had no effect on conception. I hope this helps. I wish you all luck.

Name: vicci | Date: February 23, 2005, 4:59
Answer: Katie, I'm also experiencing the same thing and i read that its perfectly normal. I also thought it could be implantation bleeding but im only day 10 of my cycle. Hopefully pos test next month but unlikely!!!

Name: Sarah | Date: February 23, 2005, 19:37
Answer: I also had the same thing, My last day of ovulation was tuesday. I started bleeding slightly yesterday and today. NOthing big but still should I be concerned?

Name: Danielle | Date: February 26, 2005, 21:58
Answer: I had a misscaraige one month ago and I am triing again. I can't pinpoint a time of ovulation because I have not gotten my period yet. I had very slight spotting which has since stopped. I hope it was ovulation bleeding.

Name: Annie | Date: February 27, 2005, 15:58
Answer: Has anyone heard of a correlation between organic milk and mid cycle spotting? My periods have been drop-dead regular for my entire life (28 days) and for the past 10 months they have been changing. I have regularly started to notice spotting during mid-cycle, which has only happened less than a handful of times in my life beforehand, and my cycle is now irregular - most months now 27 days, but last month was 4 days late. My periods themselves have also become irregular (to me) - spotting for 2-3 days, then VERY heavy bleeding for 2 days, then all of a sudden nothing. I have heard some testimony about the use of organic dairy products, and how they affect hormone levels. It dawned on me that I switched to organic milk about the time that my cycle started changing. Has anyone else heard of this? Thanks!

Name: Julie | Date: February 28, 2005, 23:31
Answer: I had mid-cycle bleeding about 1 1/2 months ago. I thought it might be implantation, but I got my period about a week later. Now I have not had any bleeding for over 4 weeks, and previously my cycle has been about 3 weeks. I have taken a pregnany test, and only come up with negative results. Is there a connection between the two?

Name: michelle | Date: March 1, 2005, 5:43

Answer: I have two healthy boys 6 and 2. In the past 6 months I've had 2 miscarriages. Since the last one I've had one normal period and now I'm ovulating with a brownish discharge/spotting. I've had mid-cycle spotting before and they did all the tests and everything was fine but I'm concerned about getting pregnant. I want to wait one more regular period and hopefully that one will decide to stay with me. Does anyone know anything about this brownish stuff related to ovulation?

Name: michelle | Date: March 3, 2005, 9:33
Answer: we don't seem to know when we ovulate, day 10 now so not long to go now!!!

Name: Lyn | Date: March 7, 2005, 17:47
Answer: Hello Everyone! I believe that what I experienced earlier was implantation bleeding b/c now I am 6 weeks pregnant!!! Yeah! Now I am seeing very very very light spotting when I wipe and I am concerned. I know that when women bleed in early pregnancy there is a 50% chance of miscarriage... I wonder if its too light to worry about or if there is anything that I can do to increase the chances of this pregnancy continuing? Anyone's input would be appreciated because my mind has been racing... I go to the Dr. tomorrow so I will let you all know how it goes...

Name: rebecca277 | Date: March 10, 2005, 2:54
Answer: I have a friend who is a NFP coordinator and for the first time I had tinges of blood in my cervical mucus. I am a few days away from my supposed ovulation time (day 13 right now). I never discovered before but I always check my cervical fluid on the tissue or with one finger sweeping the vagina. I read to check with two fingers and "squeeze" the cerfix to check for mucus. When I did this I discovered the bloody mucus. My friend told me some women have this ovulation bleeding and it is normal not to worry.

Name: Summer | Date: March 10, 2005, 7:49
Answer: Thanks Rebecca that really makes me feel better - it went away after two days anyway - which made me feel better. And it doesn't seem to happen every month. We were planning on to start trying again next month for our third child and I've just been nervous with the two back to back miscarriages I've gone through lateley. Thanks again.

Name: jasmine | Date: March 10, 2005, 10:12
Answer: if you are pregnant, pay attention to your breast, mine are on the small side normally, but only 2 days after a missed period they were much more swollen, noticable

Name: Vic | Date: March 16, 2005, 18:06
Answer: Hi everyone, not really an answer, just wanted to say how relieved i am to read all this! i've had spotting / light bleeding mid-cycle for a couple of years (and on and off before that), and i'd never thought much of it until recently when someone told me it wasn't normal and could be a sign of something serious. V.relieved when google led me here... it seems like it's actually very common. i just get a couple of days of spotting, which, mixed with my normal discharge around that time, means that i have to wear a pantyliner, but that's no great hassle really!

Name: Julie A. | Date: March 19, 2005, 16:58
Answer: Glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. I have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months. I have had spotting before ovulation, during and after. Not all in the same month, it will change on me. I took Clomid for one month in Dec. and my ovaries enlarged and I developed a cyst. This cause a lot of irregular bleeding. My last cycle length was 31 days and I think I ovulated on the 15th or 16th of this month. For the past 3days I have had very light spotting and today some light to medium bleeding. I also didn't know if this was implantaton bleeding, spotting, or starting my period early. How the heck do you know????

Name: nesha | Date: March 20, 2005, 5:39
Answer: I am about a month pregnant and I had sex with my boyfriend during this time. After awhile I had went to the bathroom and realize that I was bleeding did I have a miscarrage or is it something else?.

Name: Julie A. | Date: March 20, 2005, 19:55
Answer: This is for nesha...I just read on another web site that sex does not cause a miscarrage and some women can have bleeding when they are pregnant. Hope this helps. Call your doctor-it wouldn't hurt.

Name: Anne | Date: March 21, 2005, 9:36
Answer: First off, I'm so glad that what I'm going through appears to at least be somewhat common. I have experienced brownish blood around what I *think* is my ovulation time (my periods are somewhat irregular), but last night I started bleeding a lot more than what the midcycle bleeding has usually been like, and it's more red. Any ideas why it might be so heavy? My period isn't due for at least another week.

Answer: we are trying to conceive with my husband and this month i had light bleeding around my ovulation time for 5 days. first i thought it was an implantation vleeding, so i went to the doctor to take the blood test and it was negative. i don't know what to think...i never had it before...my doctor doesn't know what it is either...should i go do the ultrasound or wait for my periods (in a week)...is there a possibility that i just got pregnant during that bleeding?

Name: kay | Date: March 21, 2005, 16:35
Answer: that is the same thing with me

Name: marie2005 | Date: March 22, 2005, 5:05
Answer: what happened to lyn? i was eager to hear what happened at the doctor?

Name: Janet S. | Date: March 22, 2005, 17:10
Answer: My cycles range anywhere from 33-56 days and it is only during my longer cycles that I have some mid-cycle spotting. I've been charting my temps for several months as we've been TTC and noticed that the spotting usually occurs up to a week before I actually ovulate. If you are in doubt as to whether or not the spotting corresponds to ovulation then I would recommend charting your temps so you know for sure.

Answer: Hey everyone!! It is good to know that I am not alone in this battle. My husband and I have been trying for 6 months now and bleeding , ovulation , the whole fertility process could be confusing, frustrating , and just plain upsetting but one thing i realize in this whole process while i wait for my blessing to come is that the most important thing is to believe that we will bring children into this world , not by our own power but with God's help. Prayer have brought me through some obstacles before ,so this doesnt make it any different . Just believe my sisters and we shall recieve!

Answer: I have been trying for over a year with no success. Some cycles have been normal lenght (20-30 days) But some are longer (45-50 days). I have been to an OB and my ultrasounds are normal as are the paps. Seems that durring a long cycle I get spotting that isn't linked to ovulation at all. Estrogyn rises to push ovulation causing brownish discharge but isn't enough to cause ovulation. The spotting stops and my BBT and CM fluctuates before the process starts all over again. It is makes me mad that my body is working against my hopes of child birth. I chart CM BBT and LH. Currently on cycle day 37 no ovulation as of yet. Only my second cycle this year.

Answer: Hello everyone..just worried...from past two days i am bleeding slightly though my period date is still 15-20 days away (i always had my periods regularly) Does this mean i am pregnant or it is just stress ?is it normal ? Can someone help.

Name: Lyn | Date: March 25, 2005, 16:01
Answer: Hey everyone, I hope you all are well. I was waiting to post until I had more news to share with everyone, but things are great here. I went to the Dr. at about 6 1/2 weeks and was able to see the hearbeat on the ultrasound. It was such a relief. I was told that I have a tender cervix and an infection (due to increase vaginal secretions which can be common with early pregnancy). My Dr. said that the infection is fairly common with increased mucous, but due to the tender cervix and some bad coughing i was experiencing (thanks to whatever bug happened to be going around at the time) it was causing bleeding. So thanks to a good round of antibiotics, robitussin, a little bit of rest, and :( no sex with the hubby until my next visit, the bleeding has stopped and we think that everything is going to be fine. We are so thankful and I hope that this is helpful to anyone experiencing the same things and let this give you hope. I am now 8 1/2 weeks pregnant and my husband and I are thrilled - we are going to tell the family over the Easter holiday, but will reamin cautious. For those of you who are still trying - don't give up! It can happen for you at any time maybe sooner than you know. I'm glad that everyone here is being supportive of all because we are all in this together. I hope everyone (including me) has a successful pregnancy and many beautiful babies! Oh, by the way - I'm only having one... I know thanks to the ultrasound :) but hopefully it is one healthy, happy baby!! Good luck all!!

Answer: I have had 2 polypectomies in the past 8 mths. Now I am trying to conceive and the Dr. has put me on clomid ( I do not start taking it until my period arrives this month). I am noticing a couple days of spotting light red to brown during mid cycle and am afraid the clomid will make it worse or I will be unable to get pregnant. Note: the reason I feel like I do about the Clomid is because while trying to regulate my cycle after surgery the Dr. tried birth control pill & patch. Both caused intermittent bleeding and heavy periods. My body just does not react well to hormone pills I guess. Should I just go see a fertility specialist and not wast my time w/ my reg. ob/gyn?

Name: Paris | Date: March 26, 2005, 9:44
Answer: Oh, I also forgot something. If you notice the mid cycle bleeding, should you have had sex prior to, during, or after. If this is a sign of ovulation, I have heard that you should have sex before. I just want to make sure this is right. THANKS everyone who has posted on this website. It has been a blessing reading your stories and gives me hope...God bless

Answer: hi, so relieved to find this site! I am also trying to be pregnant & am worried because i started to bleed three days after my last period. I don't know if it's ovulation bleeding, implantation bleeding or my body is just doing it's own thing to confuse me! My breasts are very sensitive and 'burning' inside, pregnancy test was negative. ovulation test was positive! I am very confused!!!

Answer: My partner and I have been trying to conceive for about 5 months. I am on a 33 day cycle and period never arrived. Did a pregnancy test 4 days later which cameout positive. I had been noticing a dark brown discharge from the day before doing the test which doc says could be implantation bleeding but I have had it now for 8 days on and off although today less than any other day. Any advice? Could this be a miscarriage? Waiting confirmationof pregnancy from urine sample - results on Fri

Name: Kelly | Date: March 31, 2005, 16:29
Answer: Just a word to the wise...if you are having ANY type of bleeding between periods and you are not sure if it is ovulation bleeding--see your Dr. It can be anything from hormones, bacterial infection or a polyp(s). All which could possibly interfere with conception, however easily treated for the most part. I know from experience as I am now ttc also. I start my first round of Clomid next month. Best of luck to all ttc.:)

Answer: Almost ever question I read throughout this web site, they lead to one big problem. Lack of one major hormone PROGESTERONE. Just make sure to spend the money on a progesterone cream that has 500 mg per ounce of progesterone. Apply two times a day 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon on soft skin. Start on day 7, yes day 7, especially those with PCOS. This hormonal cream changed my life. Think about it for those trying to get pregnant, progesterone is the biggest role player in early development. It can only help, trust me.

Answer: I'm having the same problem as samantha. I spotted brown clumpy discharge during ovulation. Then I started spotting the exact day that my calendar said I was supposed to if I had implantation bleeding. Now the blood is a little heavier, and I am experiencing cramps. My period isnt due for another 4 or 5 days. Could this still be implantation bleeding, or could it be a miscarriage or my period? I have experienced nausea and vomiting, and headaches lately. Ive also been very tired. Does anyone know what this might be?

Answer: .. In response to all the women who are worried about spotting when they're pregnant - I spotted when I was pregnant with my son, called my dr hysterical, and he said that usually miscarriage is accompanied by severe cramps. (my son is now a healthy 6 foot tall 13 year old). I did, however, have a miscarriage a few years ago, and the bleeding was not, could never be mistaken for a period - it was very severe.

I notice I bleed a little and I think I am ovulation. I read that it is suppose to last a couple of days. I am on birth control if that may help. But I need an answer. Answer: I am relieved to know that I am not the only woman with these same concerns. I have undergone many fertility tests lately and my doc has found nothing wrong. My husband and I have been trying for 13 months. I have had many of these similar experiences and I am beginig to think that i am causing some of these symtoms just from thinking about it so often. I just had an HSG procedure and my doctor seems to think I will be pregnant within the next couple of months. Until then i will think happy thoughts instead of worrying so much. Good luck to all!

Answer: I am glad to know many ladies have this mid-cycle bleeding that I have been having - I'm 33. I have been diagnosed with Polycystic Overy Syndrom 6 years ago. I got pregnant with pergonal shots - Successful. Then I got pregnant 2 yrs later on clomid - successful. 2 yrs later, I wasn't trying or anything (figured I couldn't get pregnant on my own) I had bleeding on day 12, I got pregnant that month - SURPRISE and successful. Since I quit nursing 6 mo's ago I have began spotting about 2 weeks into my cycle. This month it has lasted 6 days, which seems strange. I will see my OBgyn on the 27th. Good luck, I believe the mid-cycle bleeding won't hurt in getting pregnant, as it happened to me.

Answer: Why spotting occur during 8th weeks of pregnancy, is it alarming?

Name: Carolyn | Date: June 14, 2005, 7:29
Answer: I'm 34 and we are trying to have one more child (we have 2 already). I NEVER get pregnant when we try to conceive. Maybe it's the stress of trying; I don't know. Anyhow, after about 3 consecutive days of sex, I notice the blood-tinged mucus. By then I'm too tired and just want a good night's rest ,so I said "forget it, not tonight dear". I haven't been on birth control in 2 years and nothing has happened, although I can't say we've really tried. My cervix is usually very tender during ovulation and I don't want to have sex then. I'm wondering if the bleeding could be caused by aggressive lovemaking?

Name: Carolyn | Date: June 14, 2005, 7:30
Answer: Louis, I spotting around 6 to 8 weeks with second child. I was fine, but you can still ask your Dr.

Name: Sherylin | Date: June 16, 2005, 4:28
Answer: Hi there ladies. I just wanted to tell those of you who experience the blood tinged mucus around the time of ovulation, it is perfectly normal. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. It is just one of those quirks of being a woman of child bearing age. What I have found in my research is that the blood tinged cervical mucus is a great indicator of ovulation. It is a very fertile time. I hope this helps. I wish you all healthy, beautiful babies. God bless.

Name: Sherylin | Date: June 16, 2005, 4:35
Answer: I forgot to say that I have the same issue. I get the blood tinged cervical mucus about 4 times a year. It usually lasts about 3 to 4 days. It's not heavy enough for a pad, but sometimes it does stain my panties. It's probably a good idea to wear panty liners. It always happens when I least expect it. Sorry, if I got too graphic. I hope that you all can find comfort in knowing that you are not alone. Take care and God bless.

Answer: I don't have an answer, just also the same problem. For about a year now I have had some brown discharge during the time of ovulation. I am also trying to get pregnant and have been unsuccessful for a year now. I went to two OB/GYN 's and they both told me that spotting during ovulation is normal and could demonstate an increase in fertility. I just finished a class at the gym and started bleeding like a regular period, but I just ended by period about ten days ago. Does anyone have the answer as to what this is??

Answer: HI - We have been tcc for about 17 months since the miscarriage. About 3 mths ago I got a saliva monitor and have been watching for the "ferns" (ovulation time). The ferns seem to be present about day 4 or 5 of my cycle. Isn't it supposed to be around the middle of the cycle. Do you think that this is why I miscarried. It has been really head dealing with it. Some of you are so strong! Anyway, do you think that it is possible that I am ovulating so clsoe to the beginning of my cycle. I have also been charting for the the last year and they cannot tell when I ovulate. However I don't check the temps when I'm bleeding. Any suggestions or help - thanks

Answer: i have regular 28 day cycles. 4 months ago my husband and i started trying to conceive. i am sure i conceived last month. However it was painful from the start. i showed very evident signs of pregnancy. my breasts became huge, my abdomen large and tightened, most of my freckles became sore and so did my gums. i could smell much more than before. i was sure this was it. unfortunately it did not even give me time to confirm as it only lasted a few days after my usual end of cycle. It all ended with a very heavy and painful period. i tried to take it in my stride and convince myself that at least we know to be a fertile couple. this month i felt so empty and was expecting a normal cycle but i had streaks of blood in the mucus various times during the month. i'm supposed to have had my period 8 days ago. but all i got was some more streaks and some brownish mucus when i wipe. my breasts decided to swell up too but i still feel so empty. i'm so confused.any ideas?

My last child was born 9 years ago and I had a full blown period with my other pregnacies for the 1st month. Is this ovulation bleeding? Could this be implantation bleeding? Could I be preg?

Answer: Hi, I have just started to bleed when ovulating, i went to the Dr and she said that i was either just having a ovulation bleed or i was pregnant and to wait until next month to find out either way, i will either bleed or not, not much to go on but i guess the worst thing is, that it is a waitng game we are all playing. good luck to all, i hope it all works out. keep your chins up, when it does happen i am sure it will be the right time and very amazing. i don't think anyone really knows what is going on, i wish that we could find out.

Answer: Hey everyone! To all who are ttc - don't give up! For those of you who are bleeding at odd times - don't freak out! I'm not a doctor, but I experienced spotting early in pregnancy and then again around 3 & 4 months. Each time there was a different reason for the bleeding, none of which gave us reason to believe that there was a problem with the baby. I am now 6 months along and thrilled. G/L to all!

Answer: Hi, I've read almost all of your post.I'm 37 I have 4 children, two step, two bio. This month I had my period after 25 days(it was early) then on day 14 after intercourse I had spotting(ovulation time) I'm not trying to have any more kids but will tell you. Before I got my period I felt really pregnant.I have never had spotting before and I'm really worried.Should I call my doctor or just wait to see if I get my period in a week?

Name: Tracey | Date: July 23, 2005, 19:58
Answer: High estrogen levels can cause ovulatory bleeding and high progesterone levels can cause pregnancy-like symptoms. Its not uncommon for a particular cycle to have higher than regular hormonal levels.

Answer: why do my breast get sore during ovulation

Name: Ali | Date: August 1, 2005, 8:18
Answer: Hi everyone. I've been reading your messages for a while but never posted before. I also have ovulatory bleeding and am ttc. It usually happens about a week after the end of my period and lasts 2-3 days. I discussed it with my doctor and she informs me that it is nothing to worry about, it is caused by hormonal levels and there is no reason to think I can't conceive. To anyone who has been ttc for over 1 yr, you should see your doctor and ask to be sent for tests (they won't do them before you've been trying for at least 1 yr). Good luck everyone who is ttc and to everyone else, try not to worry too much.

But now, i've experienced a day of minor brown discharge or cervix mucus during my ovulation period....could this just be because I am ovulating...what is this darker discharge?

Answer: I had a miscarriage three months ago and have been trying to conceive since. This month around the time I would have expected to ovulate I have had brown/reddish brown blood with my discharge. I hoped that it was ovulation bleeding. However, at the same time I have been doing OPKs (which worked ok before my miscarriage), but I haven't had a surge. Starting to wonder if this means I am not ovulating.

Answer: my partner and i tried for 2 years for a baby and found out we were expecting in Feb 05. i bled for the first 12 weeks with no problems to our daughter, but i did spent most of my pregnancy in hospital on a drip with very severe hyperemesis and then tragically gave birth at 21 weeks due to an having an incompetant cervix, our daughter fought for an hour but there was nothing that could be done to save her. i used to have irregular periods but since giving birth have bled on 3rd and 16th of the month. this month on the 16th it was slightly less red and more mucus which could tie in with ovulation. when i was pregnant i was told that bleeding early on in pregnancy is actually quite normal around the time of implantation and does not seem to have a negative effect on a healthy embryo

Answer: I feel comforted to have found this site because for the past four years I have experienced off and on bleeding around the 14th day of my cycle. After doing some research I was satisfied with the explanation that it was just normal ovulation bleeding. I have been married now for eight months and want to be pregnant. I am kind of worried that I have a problem but the obgyn always assures me that everything is fine. Everything I read about ovulation bleeding says that ovul. bleeding is a good sign of fertility, but when am I suppose to have intercourse...before or after the bleeding? Does anyone know? Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone.

Answer: Hi everyone - I had had some bleeding mid cycle about 2 months ago and cramping on the left side. I am not pregnant but still ttc. when I saw my dr she referred me to have a ultrasound (to make sure that all was good), when I went in for the ultra sound the tech noticed that I had a cyst on my left ovary. She stated that it is a common thing. Some of the symptoms were nausea and pain (cramping) on my lower left side. dr. stated that I should not have any problems with concieving in the future and that the cyst should go away after 1-2 months. I will be going back in November for another ultrasound. if you are have any kind of pain and you are not pg with a test. talk to your doctor. I am not saying that anyone has the same thing as I do, but check it out. Hopefully, you are pregnant. Good luck.

Answer: Trish (and anyone else interested) - For the last few months I have been doing ovulation tests (which works out very expensive) to work out if I bleed before, after or during ovulation. Every month I have ovulated and then started bleeding 2 or 3 days after. Hope that helps and good luck ttc.

Answer: I had a misscarrage 16 days ago but stopped bleeding 2 days ago and ovulated but started bleeding again today. Me and my husband hoped this would be our second chance so hopefully it is just a sign of ovulating i pray it is. I was reading that alison was saying it is expensive buying ovulation tests i agree i bought one of the internet its called ovatel its a saliva test its dinky and only costs £15 and you can use it over and over. Worth a try its tricky to start with you might want to try it a few times aday to get the swing of it. Ill keep you posted i hope i did ovulate again as i know you become really fertile after a misscarriage. Fingers crossed for my glimer of hope eh ! thanks

Answer: This past year and a half I lost two pregnancies. One at 5month to turners syndrome and one at 10 weeks for miscarriage. We are starting to try again after two month since last miscarriage and during 14th day noticed pink watery discharge. I am wondering if that could mean ovulation or something completly different? I do have left back side pain. Any thoughts ladies?

Answer: As long as your cycles are normally regular, I wouldn't worry about the bleeding in between. There are so many things and/or situations that influence the way our cycles behave. Mid cycle bleeding is common and stress has a way of wreaking havoc at other times...no one is immune. For peace of mind, get your doctor to rule out hormonal imbalances, thyroid probs, hyperprolacinemia, infections, and if you check out ok with those and your pap smear, then don't sweat it, ok? I love you all. I'm going thru it all, too. Just take it one day at a time and keep your faith.

Answer: For about the past year and a half I have experienced mid cycle bleeding. My OBG says this in normal and is from a drop in horomone levels. I am not trying to conceive, but have 2 children, the last one 5.5years ago. I am not on anything, my husband had a vas after our last child. Any how, the obg says that this mid cycle bleed is normal. He also told me it can be brought on by weight gain or simply being a little or a lot overweight, as weight can affect our horomone levels. When I do have a mid cycle bleed, which is about every 2nd or 3rd month, sometimes it has been 2 in a row. It is like a mini period. It is brownish for most of the day, then gets pink then sometimes red. It is light, sometimes I have to wear a liner though. I too was very worried about this even though the doc said it was normal it still is comforting to see that I am not the only one this happens to.

Answer: I was on Depo for 9 months and it was due on feb 29. I didn't take it because I am trying to get pregnant. My cycles are between 21 and 28 days and this month on the 15th day after my LMP I experienced light bleeding that was brown in color. I don't know what it is. I heard someone say that it means that I am fertile and now is the time to have sex, but I don't know. I am still trying. My friend was on depo for a year and got pregnant 3 months after she quit taking it. So, I guess it depends on the person.

Answer: Light brown discharge 11-13 days into cycle I'm 28 years old. I'm having a thin lightly-tinged brown discharge from my vagina. It happens about 11-13 days into my cycle. It happens after a strong pain in my lower abdominal right or left side. The pain lasts from one to 4 hours and after that I start bleeding. I went to the gyn and my pap and everything were normal. You can get ovulatory bleeding in the middle of the cycle and if it is very light, it just comes out as brown tinged as you describe. Usually it doesn't happen every month though. They said that the pap was "within normal limits." She told me not to worry about the light brown if it didn't continue more than a couple of days or if I didn't have pain. It doesn't happen every month. Every 2 or 3 months maybe. Sometimes only a touch, sometimes a little brown for a day or so. I had hyperplasia 4 years ago but know my gyn say I am normal. I am trying to get pregnant but I wanted to know if I should try before, during or after the pain or the bleeding. If someone knows, please let me know.

Answer: Hi Everyone, I've also experience bleeding during ovulation for a long time. Sometimes its light and other times a little heavier. My doctor has told me that this is normal for some women. I asked if it would interfer with pregnancy and he said no - sperm should have no difficulty getting through. However, I was also told that sometimes the Lutueal Phase right after ovulation can breakdown early causing bleeding and consequently miscarriages. Its my understanding they can prescribe natural pill form progesterone to extend the luteal phase.

Answer: I was told by my doc that midcycle bleeding can mean I am NOT ovulating at all. I have had this problem for years. My doc suggested birth control to sort of get me back in to gear, but that seems silly since I am trying to conceive, but maybe that is what I need to do to conceive. Anyone hear of this? Also does anyone bleed, midcycle, after exercising?

Name: Rachel | Date: November 5, 2005, 7:01
Answer: I have read in my book "taking charge of your fertility" that thus not most common, a sign of ovulation can be spotting. This is actually great for you ladies who do have it as it is an extra sign that you have ovulated. Some women don't have any signs, no dull ache, no cramping, nothing, so unless they are charting their temps they wound't know when they ovulated. I think the spotting comes after the egg has been released....so you need to make sure you BD before that time. I just had the weirdest 2 days ever. I am currently at 5dpo (I know this because I chart on fertility friend). At 3dpo I had major pain on my left side during sudden movement, walking fast and especially painful when coughing. At 4dpo (yesterday), I woke up to go to work, went for my morning pee and found that my white underwear was covered in what I can only describe as a brown watery discharge (watered-down blood). DH and I BD'd the night before but it wasn't rough at all and actually the movement fromt hat hurt the left side as well. Does anybody know what this could be? A cyst? I just had a physical one month ago and was told no cycts found during my pelvic exam (not sure how accurate that is). It can't be implantation bleeding so soon?

Answer: Hi Rachel- I have had exactly the same kind of "spotting" as you describe- a weird watery brown discharge. I have had it 4 times in the last 9 months. (I keep records since I am always bleeding) Although it is bizaar, it is becoming increasingly common for me. I have been checked for cysts and fibroids etc and came up clean. For me I think it is just hormonal imbalnace. This kind of discharge happens at all times for me. First two randomly and the last two at ovulation. I hope this puts your mind at ease that is may be anything serious.

Name: Erin | Date: November 7, 2005, 2:53
Answer: Sorry- trouble with the english language.... I was trying to say... It may NOT be anything serious and not to worry too much before you speak to your doctor.

Name: Rachel | Date: November 7, 2005, 7:43
Answer: Thanks Erin, that made me feel better. Both my Mom and MIL feel it might have been a big ovarian cyst that ruptured but you would think that my GP would have found something this large in early October when I had my physical. Do you think i should even bother going to see the doctor? I have been going to (bugging) her almost once a month cuz every month something new and weird happens. I am really hoping that she will just give in and refer me to an ob/gyn (in Canada you must be referred). Had it only been a spot on the underwear I wouldn't have thought too much about it but my underwear was completely soaked in the discharge. I had to throw them out as they were completely ruined.

Answer: Hi Rachel, I find bugging your doctor is a great way to get what you want. if you are trying to get pregnant than you should be in touch with an OBGYN. I say go ahead and bug your dr. at least inquire about this- I don't want to lead you astray since i speak only from personal experience and zero medical training. Although i discribe this discharge as " my water breaking" it sounds like yours might be a little more intense. I'd say it's only an ounce when it happens to me- maybe an ounce and a half?? Not sure... Hope I am helping...

Answer: Moeni, you have every right to want a baby but you have to understand that most of the women on this discussion board, including myself, would give anything to have a child. It break our hearts to hear about a baby who never had a chance at life because the mother found it inconvenient. Abortions can mess your body up(scar tissue, etc) so its probably a good idea to go get a complete checkup.I wish you the best and hope that you conceive.

Answer: well, i'm currently doing follicle studies to see when i ovulate - vaginal ultrasounds from day 12-18. bleeding during ovulation - i was told that many follicles form, only one lives to ovulation and the others rupture - causing bleeding. it's that chocolate brown colour, watery texture stuff. extremely inconvenient if you ask me. i'm a 28 day cycle person, ovulation bleeding started on day 13 and will probably go to day 18 for me. life should be simpler! was also told that ovulation bleeding does not interfere with pregnancy attempts. stay strong everyone!

Cramping like crazy! But good news...they are clear.I guess the only thing wrong is that I don't ovulate. I haven't ahd my period for two years...except for twice when I bled for a month straight. Answer: I am so glad that I found this sight. These storys sound alot like mine. My doctor did say that it is normal to bleed during ovulation and tht you can still concieve during this time. Even knowing this it still worries me.I do have 2 beautiful children and my husband and I are hoping for number 3. With my first 2 I had no problem. In fact it took us just 2 weeks after we decided to have him to concieve him. My second was the same. My third is NOT! I was worried because I never had a problem before and now I am 36 and it has been 6 year from the last. I started bleeding when I started trying to concieve. I only know this because this is when I started test for my ovulation time. It has been 5 months now and I finally, after reading this, feel hopeful. Thank you ! I do have a question. When is your best time during this time to concieve? Before, during or after? Is it normal to have more bleeding the 2nd day? Is there a difference between red and browish red blood? My started out brownish the 1st couple of months and for the past few times has been red. Does anyone know? Thank you for your help and I will keep everyone in my prayers.

Yes - brown and red are normal colours for the spotting during ovulation - usually brown at first - heavier the second day (Reddish) and then back to brown. My husband I and are also trying to conceive (1st time). My cycle has been anywhere from 28-36 days and this months is the first month since going off the pill that I have had spotting. Answer: My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 12 months. Last year i misscarried at around 6 weeks. We found out i was pregnant 9 weeks ago and went for a routine scan last week which made me 8 weeks from my last period. No heartbeat was detected so they advised me to return today 5.1.06. After going today for the scan, they advised me that there was still no heartbeat and suggested a (ERPC Evacuation fo Retained Products of Conception) which is scheduled for next Wednesday. What is the chances that they could be wrong? as I have not experienced any bleeding and apart from the sickness, I still feel pregnant? This is both worrying and distressing for my husband and I as we so much want a child.

Answer: Hi - I'm a new user - I had an early miscarriage 1.5 years ago. I'm 35. Last fall I started to have heavy periods with spotting around mid-cycle. I went to my GYN; he removed a benign cervical polyp, did an endometrial biopsy (normal) and a pap smear (normal). Path on the polyp was benign. I have an ulatrsound scheduled for next week, to look at uterine lining, but right now I am at mid-cycle and just had a huge rush of bright red blood and mucus. It's more than spotting, so I'm very worried - but telling myself all my tests came abck normal. I shouldn't be pregnant (we're not currently trying). Has anyone else had heavier bleeding like this, mid-cycle? I'm anxious about this. Thanks!

Answer: My name is Kelsha, and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant now, this month for two years. I have had pretty irregular periods since I started them at 12. I was told a few years ago that my hormone levels were close, to me having PCOS. I do definitely have the cysts. I am not sure now if my hormone levels are to the point that I really do have PCOS. I miscarried in the middle of Dec. Everything that goes with that, I am not really sure when my last period was. It took a loong time for a pregnancy test to not detect the HcG anymore. I had a period starting the 9th of Jan, lasted only 4 days, and it was very light. I too, have been experiencing mid cycle bleeding...And am very greatful to you all for sharing your own stories. Thanks for all your information you post. My husband and I are trying like crazy this month. We'll see what happens.

This goes on for about 10 -14 days and then stops (just when my normal period short be starting!). I do a pregnancy test, it comes back negative and I start the cycle all over again. I haven't a clue what's going on - anybody out there have an idea?

Answer: Hi, I am having the same problem, Just before ovulation I have spotting and then when I have intercource with my husband I start to bleed more.. I have 1 kid and I am trying to get pregnant again, I feel that in the last 2 months that it is not happening because of my bleeding. Also when i got pregnant to my daughter i never had this type of bleeding at ovulation and got pregnant the first month that we tried. Now its been 4 months and still I am not having any luck.. Also I have a apt. with my Doc. next month just 4days before ovulation to see with a U/S what is happening inside. I thought that this was not a normal thing, but since reading all your answers I feel that I am not alone with this type of bleeding. and it is not a bad thing...Thanks

Answer: My husband and I have been trying for a few years to get prengnant. This past year we have been going to a specialist who has been doing lots of tests on us to see why we haven't been able to get pregnant on our own. I found out yesterday that i have edrometrial polyps and my doctor feels they should be removed. I have been referred to another specialist who will make the final decision if they will come out. If the polyp interferes with the egg and sperm, it may make it hard to get pregnant. Has anyone out there ever had this? If so, were you able to conceive after the removal of the polpys?

MY HUSBAND AND I ARE STILL TRYING ND WAITING UNTIL THE 17TH TO SEE IF AF COMES, BUT THE INSIDE OF MY VAGINA WALLS AND MY CERVIX IS VERY TENDER. WE HAVENT HAD SEX FOR A FEW DAYS AND IT IS STILL VERY SORE. ( WE ARE BOTH FREE OF STD'S) ON THE AVERAGE WE HAVE SEX 5-9 TIMES A WEEK AND I HAVE NEVER HAD this problem before. any suggestions? anyone else experience this around cycle day 23-25? let me know. good luck to all ttc.

Answer: It is nice to read all the postings and to know I am not alone. I have noticed a couple of important questions that no one really had gotten a response on. I too am ttc and have these same issues. Does the ovulatory bleeding (if that is what it is) keep from the sperm reaching the egg? My dr. told me it could be ovulatory bleeding but other times says it's possible I did not ovulate. Has anyone actually gotten pregnant w/having the ovulatory bleeding? And also, if you do bleed, I have seen that it means ovulation occusr before and after the bleeding. Any suggestions on when to "try" during the bleeding phase? It has been a year for me and my period is different every month...how does one deal with this irregularity?

Answer: I also have PCOS, and am trying to get pregnant, I am on 1500mg of Metformin, chlomid tablets, progestrone pills, and estrogen, and I am usually pretty regular on my cycle, and I was due to start on the 17th, and it is now the 28th, I do have pregnancy symptoms, but I'm not sure if they are because of all the fertility meds I am on. any advice?

Answer: I have been off of the birth control patch for almost three months. My first cycle was late and the second one started on time. However, 15 days after my cycle I began to have ovulation bleeding. I have purchased the Ovulite and it did not indicate that I was ovulating during this time. Reading over the previous answers, I will continue to monitor my ovulation and see if I do ovulate after this bleeding episode. I never knew getting pregnant was going to be a science experiment. It has been good to join this forum and see that other women are experiencing this.

Answer: Wow, I'm amazed at how common this is! My partner and I have just decided to TTC and had our first 'experience' only yesturday. Just before we had sex he said he had a really good feeling that it was going to happen for us, this morning (12 hours after sex) I woke up and felt different. A bit crampy, bloated, swollen breasts. A few hours ago I started to spot pink watery stuff, nothing major, can hardly see it and there's practically nothing there. At first I thought I was getting my period, but now I'm convinced that we conceived and it's ovulation bleeding.... I'll keep you informed, I'll be testing in about a week. Good luck to you all ladies, I feel so lucky that this happened to me the first time (well, hopefully!!)

Answer: Wow, I never realized how many women suffer with mid-cycle bleeding! DH and I have been ttc for about 14 months now, with no success. About 8 months ago I started a new work out routine, and I noticed that I started to get midcyle bleeding whenever I worked out. It will be mixed with my ewcm and it is bright red, lasting for about 12 hours after I finish working out. Then it turns to brown. I still get the mid-cycle bleeding every month. I was concerned so my dr gave me an u/s and they said my ovaries and uterus are normal with no polyps. Dh got checked out too, and he got a clean bill of health. I can't figure out what the problem could be. I've tried ovulation kits, temping, preseed, robitussin etc, but still nothing. I can't help but think that the bleeding is causing me not to get pregnant, but the dr. doesn't think they two are related. Does anyone else have a similar story, or suggestion for me?

Answer: On Sat., (cd16), at like 4 am, I went to the bathroom after coming in from a club and I had blood when I wiped, not a lot, just enough for the tissue and wasn't anything after that. I had sex just in case b/c I don't know if I was ovulating. Here's my question: When you see this blood, did I ovulate ALREADY, am I ovulating RIGHT THEN, or am I ABOUT to ovulate? I hope I didn't confuse anyone as dumb as it sounds. I'm pretty sure it's ov bleeding b/c I have a 32 day cycle and have a luteal phase of about 14-15 days. Next period is due 5/16.

Answer: hey all, have been ttc for the past year and have just started bleeding m/c the past two months.... My husband and I are sorta keen but we have trouble getting energy during working week, so tend to only try on weekends.... I have a solid 32day cycle with my last period being 6/20/06 so I knew I would be ovulating around this time, actually calculated the 8th. I had the brownish discharge yesterday, and after trying this morning I discovered that I was bleeding a bright red. We tried last weekend too and I'm just trying to figure out that if the ovulation bleeding occurs after ovulation, would last weeks effort be enough? I know that "only on weekends" is probably not enough to make it easy, but it does only take once right?

Answer: just further to my last post, I thought I'd let you know that the reason for my name is that since we have been ttc, my sisters in law have all gotten pregnant, 1 was trying for about 1 month, and the other one was trying for about 2 months with the first one, and the second pregnancy which is due in 6 weeks wasn't even tried!!!!! it is so disheartening when you are around such fertile people!!!!

Name: faith2 | Date: July 10, 2006, 0:38
Answer: losingfaith, i have to respond because i totally understand how you feel. I have two sisters in law who conceived while not trying. I also have a sister who has 2 kids already and "mistakenly" got pregnant with twins. Believe me, she is the last person who needs two more babies right now. I have my name because despite my disappointing months/years..I have to keep the faith. Hang in there, don't loose faith or hope. As far as the bleeding. I bleed and have cramps during ovulation. My doctor told me ovulation is taking place..so that would be a good day to BD "sex". The doctor also said, it's a good idea to BD the day before ovulation because you want sperm to be there when the egg is released. This will increase your chances of conceiving. If you want know exactly when your ov, get a ovulation kit. Clearblue is a good brand.

Answer: Hi ladies. just thought I would post and say that I know exactly how you feel about everyone else getting pregnant. The month after I m/c, my boss got pregnant. It was really hard for me to be happy for her, when I wanted to be pregnant so badly. Now every month she's like 'are you pregnant yet' Hello! don't you think I'm trying here! And everywhere I turn, there are pregnant ladies. I went to the doc. the other day and I swear everyone I saw was pregnant! Even two of the nurses were pregnant. Hopefully this is everyones lucky month! Babydust to all!!

Answer: Tammy, I can relate. I have been married for four years and ttc secretly for three. During these four years everyone and their mother manages to ask me " when are you guys having kids" atleast once a month. I don't want people in my business so I brush them off. You would think they would stop buggin you but Nooo...they don't take hints. When I finally get pg. I'm still not telling them. They will find out when my stomach starts to pop out.

Answer: I miscarried in April of this year. I have waited the amount of time that my doctor has told me to wait and I am mid way through my cycle and I am spotting, enough to have to wear a panty liner and it is a brownish color and I am not sure why I am spotting? I have always had normal cycles and this has never happened before. I don't know if it is because my husband and I are trying to get pregnant or if my cycles are still abnormal due to my miscarriage. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Answer: Hello ladies, It's been a while since I wrote because my computer has been down. I think I have really great news for you. I heard about this liquid vitamin for women from my grandmother. I don't know if any of you heard of Lydia Pinkham, but women back in the day used to take it for mentrual problems and what not. It worked very well on women trying to get pregnant. Any who, I decided to give it a try. I got it at my local drug store, you can call or look around to see who has it. I took it for about two months and bam!!! I'm having a baby any day now. I really hope if any of you are trying please, please, please try this. Its totally healthy for you, it's just herbs and vitamins in liquid form (they do come in pills too) what it does is it nurishes your reproductive organs with vitamins and herbs we lack due to the things we eat. The only thing is that if you do try it stop taking it once your mid cycle comes, I did some research and that is what they said and I did. You will notice mid cycle because you will have abundant EWCM. Lots of luck to you I really hope this helps.

Answer: I have a lot of experience with this subject. I am schooling for an RN on the OB floor and also from personal experience. I too have had bleeding with ovulation. Also occumpanied by pain in the choicen ovary I am ovulating from. I have a huge history of early miscarriage. I have four children and I have had at least 5 miscarriages that I know of. I am lucky compared to some woman, my miscarriages take place by the second month so its been a little easier for me to let go. I was only able to get pregnant taking a tincture called Red Rasberry Leaf. I took this tincture and had one period, the next month I was pregnant. You can buy it online at herbalremedies.com I was also using progesterone cream on my skin to help assist the pregnancy. I was able to carry my baby to 35 weeks before delivery. Something caused the placenta to stop working correctly and my baby wasn't getting the fluid around her that she needed. My doctor was affraid that she would tangle in or pinch her umbilical cord so we had her early. If anyone has any questions, feel free to email me. kissalov@hotmail.com

Answer: I just want to thank all of you for this forum. It has brought me alot of peace in the past months while ttc. I just went in to see my doc today and I have one huge follicle. Got my LH results back and should ovulate within a day or so. For the first time ever, I started light bleeding tonight before ovulation. Thanks to this forum, I can sleep tonight! I was pretty worried. I have one 3 y/o boy, and we have been ttc for 9 months now on clomid. Sure is nice to be able to read others experiences....I am not alone after all!! Good luck to all of you!

Answer: I am really releaves to read all your stories cos i can sleep now knowing i am not alone in this. I'm sorry I dont really have an answer, I only have more questions. I got married about a year and one mont ago, and we've been trying to get pregnant about 4months now. I had my last normal MP on the 29 of Nov and started bleeding again on the 19th dec, i went my dr who said i was having ovu bleeding. I didn't see my period again almost 2 months and was feeling some Preg symtoms. then the bleeding again, went to my dr who said i am ovulating and there is no sign that i ever was preg, ruling out the possibty of a miscarr. so what happened to my MP for that period? I am really confused this has never occured b4, when can e try? Is it b4 d bleeding, during or after? Thanks everybody

Answer: I am 28 and have just starting trying to get pregnant. Have been monitoring my cycle for a couple of months and seem to have a regular 30 day cycle. Have been using LH testing kits by the letter, but have not detected a surge. On monday (day 15 of my cycle) there was a fain line on the test strip, but the instructions say it should be darker than the control line. We had sex on this day and we both noticed that I was bleeding. This concerned me, but after looking at this sight and others it seems that this maybe an ovulation bleed and that sometimes you need to test for a LH surger sometimes twice a day to insure you don't miss it. It is now Wednesday (day 17), so I guess that is it for this cycle. Maybe we'll have another go tonight for good measure. I gave my husband last night off, as I didn't wont to wear him out. Can anyone shed any light on weather you can have to much sex and deminish chances, is once a day too much during ovulation times? Also does laying down for 20-30 mins after sex improve chances at all?

Answer: I am really relieved to read through this thread AND find not even one entry that indicates that bad egg quality is the reason why we bleed during ovulation. Because that's what my dr told me when i asked her about it. She even told me that even if i got pregnant in that cycle, the pregnancy would be very hard to sustain and would have lots of complications. Wow, what a relief to find this thread. Thank you very much!

Asked my doctor but he says I must miss pills, which I definitely do not. Answer: I had a miscarry in March 2007 at 13 weeks thought i would never get over it and then in June 2007 blighted ovum. decided that surely my luck could not continue to run this way. My cycle before miscarrry was 28 days spot on and after miscarry 32 days dead on. Then on 9th Sept the exact due date came on monthly at 28 days back to 28 day cycle wk comm 24th Sept 07 for a few days felt a pulling sensation on my right side for about 2-3 days. Then 6 days after ovulation on 28th Sept Friday 5pm for a few hours show when wipe of a light pink blood / discharge thought oh not this month. Bit moody increase in appetite tired early nights all week litle lower back pain. Due on the 7th Oct will keep you posted spoke to friend out of 5 3 said they had spotting during the early stages before they got a + test result. Will keep my fingers crossed for you Katie sometimes its just a case of believing but at the same time not getting Heart set on it. Maybe spotting is a sign of great things to come. Take care x i did read that it may also be a way of boody getting ready and the following month + pregnancy time will tell
